The short version. I only collect what I need to reply to you, deliver the audit, take payment and keep the site working. I never sell your data. Analytics and marketing cookies only run with your consent — change it any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

1. Who I am (data controller)
This site is run by Artur Kazusek, trading as Sparky Pipeline Audit (sole trader based in the United Kingdom). I am the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.
| Business name | Sparky Pipeline Audit (sole trader) |
|---|---|
| Owner | Artur Kazusek |
| Correspondence address | 38 Woodland Avenue, Burgess Hill, RH15 0PE, United Kingdom |
| artur@sparkypipelineaudit.co.uk | |
| Phone | 07572 932 222 |
| ICO registration | ZC146729 |
2. What data I collect
I collect the minimum needed to deliver the service and run the site. That falls into four buckets:
2.1 Information you give me directly
- Contact details when you email or call me — your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell me about your business situation.
- Project information to deliver the audit — access to your Google Business Profile, website URL, review platforms, Checkatrade listing, and similar publicly-viewable business assets you ask me to look at.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Essential site data (always collected): your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and cookie-consent record. Used to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics data (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 aggregates traffic patterns. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Marketing data (only with your consent): Meta (Facebook) Pixel measures ad-driven traffic and builds look-alike audiences for future ads.
2.3 Payment information
When you pay for the audit, payment is handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout and never touch this website. I only see your name, email, the amount paid and a transaction reference.
2.4 Correspondence
Any emails or messages you send me are received by my IONOS inbox under my @sparkypipelineaudit.co.uk domain and forwarded to a Google (Gmail) inbox where I read and store them.
3. Why I use your data & my lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry | Legitimate interest (answering prospects who contacted me) |
| Delivering the audit you paid for | Performance of a contract |
| Taking and recording payment | Performance of a contract + legal obligation (tax records) |
| Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse | Legitimate interest |
| Analytics (GA4) | Consent (cookie banner) |
| Marketing & retargeting (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) | Consent (cookie banner) |
| Keeping tax & accounting records | Legal obligation (HMRC, 6 years) |
4. Who I share it with (sub-processors)
I don’t sell your data. I share it with the following service providers only as needed to run the business. Each has its own privacy policy you can review:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts this website (US-based, UK/EU infrastructure available). |
| IONOS | Receives mail to @sparkypipelineaudit.co.uk and forwards it on (Germany/UK). |
| Google (Gmail, GA4, Tag Manager) | Gmail stores forwarded correspondence. GA4 + Tag Manager handle website analytics and tag loading (tags only fire with your consent). |
| Meta Platforms | Facebook/Instagram Pixel for ad measurement, only with your consent. |
| Stripe | Payment processing (card + Klarna Pay-in-3). |
I will update this list when I add or change a provider. If you want the current list in writing, email me.
5. International data transfers
Google, Meta and Stripe are US-based companies. When analytics or marketing data is sent to them, your data may be transferred outside the UK/EEA. These transfers rely on the UK’s “UK Extension” to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — both of which are ICO-approved safeguards.
IONOS and Netlify primarily process data inside the UK/EEA.
6. How long I keep your data
| Type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiry emails (no project started) | 12 months from last contact |
| Active client project data | Duration of the project + 6 years (HMRC tax record requirement) |
| Invoices & payment records | 6 years (HMRC) |
| Marketing list contacts | 24 months from last engagement, or until you unsubscribe |
| Cookie consent record | 12 months (after which the banner re-prompts) |
| Server logs | 30–90 days, depending on provider |
7. Cookies & tracking
When you first land on the site you’ll see a cookie banner with three equal options:
- Accept all — enables analytics, marketing and functional cookies.
- Only essential — leaves only the cookies needed for the site to function.
- Settings — opens a panel where you can choose per category.
The site uses Google Consent Mode v2, meaning all tracking defaults to “denied” until you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
| Category | Examples | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Consent record (cookie-consent-v1), session security | Always on |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) | Off until consent |
| Marketing | Meta Pixel (_fbp), Google Ads signals | Off until consent |
| Functional | Reserved for future chat / helper tools | Off until consent |
8. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, email artur@sparkypipelineaudit.co.uk — I’ll respond within one calendar month.
- Access — ask for a copy of what I hold on you.
- Rectification — ask me to correct anything that’s wrong.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — ask me to delete your data, subject to tax-record retention obligations.
- Restriction — ask me to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — get your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — for anything I do based on consent (like cookies), at any time.
I will not charge you for these requests unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
9. How I keep your data safe
- The site runs on HTTPS with TLS encryption.
- My email, passwords and documents are protected with strong unique passwords and two-factor authentication.
- Payment data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. Card details never touch this site.
- Access to client data is limited to me.
- If there is a data breach that puts your rights at risk, I will notify you and the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware.
10. Automated decision-making
I do not make any decisions about you, or profile you, using solely automated means. All my work is manual.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time (e.g. when I add a new tool). The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will always reflect the current version. For material changes I’ll highlight it on the homepage or email past clients.
12. How to complain
If you think I’ve mishandled your personal data, please email me first so I can try to sort it out: artur@sparkypipelineaudit.co.uk.
